Laila's blog evaluation
Hello everyone!
Welcome to my first blog post. In this post, I will be evaluating Ross Thorburn's blog which we have taken a look at in last week's seminar. I will talk about my impressions of his blog under the following:
Organisation and Layout
The layout of the blog is very clear and makes it easy to read and look for blog posts that are interesting. the blogger used headings and sub-headings to organize the information. He also used a catchy color for the headings to attract the readers' attention, which is orange.
Content and Features
With regard to the content, he mainly talks about AI and technology for education but he sometimes talks about topics related to the business field so this probably reflects his experience in both fields or his interests.
In terms of features, you can click on an external link at the end of the preview to read the whole blog post.
Ease of use and navigation
Because of the features the blogger used in his blog, it makes it easy to navigate throughout the whole blog. For example, if you want to continue reading the whole blog post which catches your attention, you can simply click on 'read more' which expands the block post, making it available for you to read the whole content.
Target audience
Based on the blog post titles, I think he targets educators as well those in the business field. However, there is no space for comments and this results to no lively audience engagement.
Summary
Blogging is like presenting information to a target audience in an informal way where people have the freedom to read over your blog posts and comment if they have questions or just simply comment if they find your blog helpful and interesting!

Happy to leave the first comment of your blog!!! Like your greeting at the beginning, it's like getting a cozy hug before diving into the post. In my sample blog, I found no comment place settled as well... What's the reason for that? Oh, and just a tiny, friendly suggestion for you that you can add the link of your sample blog so that we audience can also learn from it! Keep on, and kiss kiss!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very concise and efficient, and I have to say that the video you chose at the end had a very catchy title when I read "FIVE TIPS FOR..." I immediately clicked on the link because I was very curious to know what the five tips were hhhhh!
