Triptico
Troptico: A useful teaching game tool for teachers
Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing an interactive tool teachers can use in their classrooms, which is Triptico. It is a wonderful website for creating interactive language resource which you can adapt and create activities related to your lessons in many different ways.
Before you can get start with creating classroom activities using Triptico, you will first need to create an account. You can do this either by clicking on the 'Try Triptico Now' red button on the front page or click on the the white button that says 'create account' which is on the far right corner of the front page. Once you do that, you will have to keep in mind that Triptico is not for free and so you will have to subscribe monthly so that you will be able to use the website on a constant basis.
Once you're done with creating an account, you can find the Triptico home page where you can start creating interactive learning activities which can be found as you scroll down the page.
As you can see here, there are several sample files for you to look over so that you can get an idea of how to create an interactive activity. When you click on one of them, you can find that you can create at least 17 different activities simply by creating a list and then let Triptico do all the other work by creating different activities for you to choose for your lessons!
Limitations
One prominent limitation that first caught my attention when I first created and account is that using Triptico is not for free and that you have to sign up for a monthly subscription to be able to use it continuously. Also, it has limitations with the task it offers, there it is not possible to use it to deliver all the aspects of language teaching.

Oh, sad to find out the Triptico isn't a free ride! So does Kahoot!!! (I introduce it in my last-week blog post). I was all geared up to take a shot, and...whoops! You know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog, especially the pictures, they clearly show the advantages you mentioned in the text at a glance. I agree with you that the issue you mentioned about Triptico needing to be paid for use is a limitation in language teaching practice.
